Madden NFL 21's Franchise Mode caused many frustrations in the game's users due to its countless glitches and bugs, not to mention that it has not received clear improvements in many years, making it look old and out of date compared to the Madden Ultimate Team mode, for example.

The next big update from Franchise Mode arrives in January.
EA Sports also announced that the second update focused on improving the Franchise Mode will arrive in mid-January. This update will allow commissioners the ability to undo free agent signings, override team settings, and the much-requested option to pause the NFL Draft before configuring the auto-pilot.
