Madden NFL 21 updates some of the player ratings based on what happened in Week 5 of the current NFL season. It was quite an eventful week as some of the best performances came from players that didn't show that much potential. Chase Claypool, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Travis Fulgham are some of the sleepers that proved their skills in the fields. We also had great performances from high-rated Madden 21 players such as Todd Gurley, Kyler Murray, and D.K. Metcalf. Let's see which are the three players that had the most significant rating update.
Russel Wilson's OVR increased by 1. It may not be a huge value but it's a huge increase as Wilson is now part of the 99 Club. He was so excited to achieve the maximum Madden NFL 21 rating that he tweeted about it. He is a quarterback who plays for the Seattle Seahawks. His attributes are 86 speed, 90 acceleration, 59 strength, 93 agility, and 98 awareness. 
Travis Kelce has the TE position. Before the update, his OVR was 97. It is now 98. Kelce has 86 speed, 89 acceleration, 79 strength, 87 agility, and 97 awareness. Kelce plays for the Kansas City Chiefs. Although his team didn't emerge victorious from the game, Kelce had a great performance that earned him a rating upgrade. 
Chase Claypool is one of the surprises of this week. He is a wide receiver that plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Thanks to a +2 boost, his OVR is now 73. His attributes are 92 speed, 89 acceleration, 71 strength, 78 agility, and 76 awareness. We are excited to follow his performance in the weeks to come. 
As you are aware, some players had an OVR decrease. Their performance wasn't that good and the rating team was quick to react. 
Jimmy Garoppolo from the San Francisco 49ers is one of the players that didn't play that well. His OVR dropped by three. Jimmy now sits at 80 OVR. His stats are 73 speed, 81 acceleration, 63 strength, 76 agility, and 81 awareness. It seems like he is still not completely recovered after that ankle injury he suffered in Week 2. 
Tom Brady from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is another player who had a poor performance. As a result, his OVR is now 91 from 92, Brady has 60 speed, 66 acceleration, 64 strength, 70 agility, and 93 awareness. We are excited to see what will happen in Week 6.
