EA Sports has announced that a new update for Madden NFL 21 is available to all users since September 10. This new patch has been added to the game with the objective of adding new content and correcting some specific errors that were affecting the gaming experience for fans.
As usual with each update, EA published a statement with all the features that have been added and the problems that have been resolved on the official game page, noting that this patch has been divided into two parts.
One of the two parts of the update modifies the Madden Ultimate Team Squads and 2v2 matches of the same game mode. The other part of the update is the one that contains the bug fixes.
Here is the list of modifications and corrections of this new update:
• Fixed some errors related to Madden Ultimate Team squads role selection.
• Fixed a case where the usernames didn’t appear during 2v2 gameplay.
• Season 1 (aka Hi-Def) begins, and runs until 11/5.
• New App Icon & Main Menu art representing the Season start.
• Nike HQ yard Location & Challenges are released.
• Season-specific Vanity Content is available for a limited time.
• New Legends available in the SSKO Draft.
• JUFU song “Just Do It” featured in the Madden Trax rotation.
One of the good news of this update is that EA has launched the Free to Play Hi-Def promotion at the same time that it added Colin Kaepernick to the Madden NFL 21 free agent list, so you can now try The Yard or Superstar KO mode with this great player.
In addition, it is also a good opportunity to try it and see if Kaepernick is worth to buy Madden Coins to add him to your Madden Ultimate Team, so you can avoid a bad decision and invest your money better if you don’t like the way he plays.
On the other hand, despite all the updates and the effort that the developers are making to improve the game, it seems almost impossible that the reviews and ratings of the game by the specialized press and some fans can improve.
Currently, the game has a score of only 70 points in Metacritic, far from what you might expect from a game that is so loved by a sector of fans and in which so much work is done to achieve entertaining gameplay and the most realistic graphics.
In fact, a group of fans has launched a campaign through social media asking the NFL to terminate its contract with EA Sports and allow another company to be in charge of making the official video game of the league, for the constant discontent that they feel for what they consider a poor quality product.
Madden NFL 21 is now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC, so are the Madden 21 coins and players for sale on MUTeamGo. You can download now the update now from the store of your system. Madden NFL 21 release date for ‘next-gen’ consoles PS5, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X hasn’t been confirmed yet.
