FIFA 20 enjoys a comfortable reign in the European market. As the latest data have pointed out, the new EA Sports title has become the best selling physical game in Europe during 2019 for the third consecutive year, thus following the steps of FIFA 19 and FIFA 18. Thus, the title Sports has been ahead of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. This is indicated by the market research provided by GfK Entertainment.

FIFA 20 does not lose the pitch
"A cross-platform analysis conducted in 15 countries" showed that the new EA title tops the list of physical software sales for the third consecutive year. In this way, the FIFA saga continues to reign in Europe since FIFA 18. The research firm previously said that FIFA 19 and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe were the best-selling physical games in Europe during the first half of 2019. On the other hand, FIFA 20, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe were also the best-selling physical console games of 2019 in the United Kingdom, while Jedi Star Wars: Fallen Order and Red Dead Redemption 2 are also listed in this top 5. Yes, GfK points out that video game software sales in The United Kingdom declined last year for the first time since 2012, due to a 21.7% drop in sales of physical games.

FIFA 20 and its competitiveness
